Defense for Craig Heidt, accused in the murder of his brother, Carey Heidt, father Philip Heidt, and of severely wounding his mother Linda Heidt in 2008, is expected to call its final witness this afternoon. Charges would be sent to the court after the defense rests.

The jury is expected to be given the case as soon as noon tomorrow, after the State and the Defense give their closing arguments tomorrow morning.

Craig Heidt briefly took the stand today after jurors were excused for lunch only to be advised of his rights to testify or not testify in the case against. It is not yet known if he will testify.

Heidt was also asked if he was satisfied with his representation provided by Dow Bonds.  "Absolutley," Heidt said. "One hundred percent."
