State troopers from the Rincon post of the Georgia State Patrol investigated 11 traffic crashes during July in Effingham County.

Sergeant First Class Riner said the traffic crashes resulted in 10 injuries.

Riner said troopers from Post 42 also issued 215 traffic citations in the county during the month. The total includes five arrests for driving under the influence, 94 citations for speeding, 65 seat belt violations and four child restraint violations.

Troopers also issued 168 warnings.
