Arrests/Citations

Anthony Quadrae Jackson, SR 17/Pryor Road, Guyton – driving while license is suspended or revoked.

Oladipupo Dosumu, Hwy. 30/Midland Road, Guyton – theft by receiving stolen property, fleeing or attempting to allude law enforcement officers, willful obstruction of law enforcement officers.

Shalonda Yvette Holmes, Hwy. 21/Effingham Park of Commerce, Rincon – speeding in excess of posted limits (72 mph in 55 mph zone); DUI.

Ezekial David Dunham, Hwy. 17/Honey Ridge Road, Guyton – DUI, no proof of insurance, hit-and run.

Wyatt Lee Ruehling, Hwy. 17/Honey Ridge Road, Guyton – DUI.

 

Incidents

Ebenezer Road/Augusta Road, Rincon – a woman reported a bad odor in the area allegedly coming from the DRT plant.

Ballastone Circle, Bloomingdale – a man reported that he was receiving harassing calls/texts from an ex-girlfriend.

Silver Hill Church Road, Clyo – a man and a woman reported they had a loud verbal argument.

Effingham County Hospital – deputy responded to a report of a dog bite incident. Deputy contacted the dog owner who had updated rabies vaccinations on the dogs and would comply with the 10-day quarantine.

Savannah Town Road, Springfield – a man reported from out of state that his vehicle (left with his fatherin Effingham County) had been stolen. The vehicle is a 2014 silver Mazda Protégé, GA tag BGQ 0995, VIN JM1BG2240R0769319). The vehicle has been entered into the GCIC/NCIC database as stolen and the investigation is active.

Old Railroad, Bloomingdale – a woman called from out of the area that she hadn’t seen nor heard from her adult son, who lives in her home, since Feb. 26.
