Effingham County Sheriff’s deputies are continuing their search for a man reported missing by his family more than week ago.

With help from family members, volunteers and other agencies, deputies have been searching for James Edward Tebeau, 56, of Springfield. Family members reported him missing Feb. 20 and he was last seen on the morning of Feb. 18 at his residence on Old Tusculum Road, where he was wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.

Tebeau also may be suffering from dementia.
