ECSO needs help finding missing man
Call goes out for volunteers to aid in search

The Effingham County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing man who may be suffering from dementia.

Deputies are searching for James Edward Tebeau, 56, of Springfield. Family members reported him missing Sunday evening. He was last seen Friday morning at his residence on Old Tusculum Road wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.

Deputies, along with K-9 units, have been searching the area for Tebeau. The Georgia State Patrol's air elements also have been called in to help.

The ECSO is asking any volunteers who wish to help in the search to meet at 711 Tusculum Rd. between 11 and 11:30 a.m. today.
