IDA renews pact with Chamber

The Effingham County Industrial Development Authority has approved a professional services contract with the Effingham Chamber of Commerce for slightly less money.

IDA members approved renewing their services contract with the Chamber for $45,000 a year, with $10,000 of that a direct contribution to the Chamber’s sponsorship of Effingham Day at the Capitol.

“We’re the most heavily involved in that,” said IDA Chairman Dennis Webb. “It’s kind of our lead event of the year.”
The new contract will run from March 1, 2011 to March 1, 2012.
