Rincon Police officers are getting four new patrol cars for their fleet — and they’re getting new computer software to boot.

City council members approved purchasing four Dodge Chargers to replace the same number of aging Ford Crown Victorias in the police department’s 16-vehicle fleet. Chief Mike Bohannon said four of the department’s Crown Victorias needed maintenance last weekend.
