Community shows that it cares

Dear Editor,

We would like to take a few minutes to say that even though you know folks most all your life, in this fast paced, sometimes cruel world we live in, we tend to forget our community is one that we can lean on.  When our mother, Frances Tebeau, passed away a couple of years ago and just recently our father, Charles Otis “Otie” Tebeau passed away, just days before his 92nd birthday, the love and support shown to us was overwhelming.

From the letter that Billy Dasher wrote for the public, to the more personal “we won’t mention any names, but you know who you are” notes we received, has helped us through this saddened time more than any of you can know. The many, many fish stories, the “how he helped folks in time of need” stories, and  “the how he trusted his patrons” stories, some, us hearing for the first time, others gladly heard again, continue to be shared with us and has shown us how truly respected and loved Daddy was by our community, family and friends. “Thank you” does not begin to express our sincere gratitude. Your support will always be remembered with love just as it was given in love.
