GUYTON -- After falling behind 11-3, the Beaufort Eagles tallied 25 of the next 28 points en route to a 60-45 win against South Effingham on Tuesday.

Defensive pressure sparked the turnaround as the Eagles (3-2) turned several errant passes into layups.

Tyrese Everett led the Mustangs (1-6) with 17 points. Teammate Matt Calloway added 14.

Jamadd Rivers paced the Eagles with 22 points and Oliver Holmes tallied 12.
