Effingham County, South Effingham softball rivalry returns to regular season

Effingham County and South Effingham will renew their softball rivalry with two non-region games during the 2025 regular season, after missing each other on the 2024 schedule due to GHSA realignment. Coaches agreed to resume the series, long considered one of the area’s most competitive matchups.
