SPRINGFIELD -- South Effingham and Effingham County are set to square off at Rebel Field today in the opening game of a key Region 2-AAAAAA baseball series.

The visiting Mustangs are 17-6 overall and 8-4 in region play.  The Rebels, fresh off a three-game sweep of Glynn Academy last week, are 13-9 and 6-6.

The first pitch is set for 6 p.m.
