ECRP Fall Signups
Signups for the Effingham County Recreation and Parks fall youth sports programs will be held:
Soccer (ages 10-18): through July 17, fee $75, control date Aug. 1
Soccer (ages 2-9): July 18-Aug. 1, fee $65, new age group U4; control date Aug. 1
Baseball/softball (ages 6-14): through July 17, fee $65, control date May 1 for boys and Jan. 1 for girls
Baseball open league: through July 17, fee $48 per player, maximum $450 per team
Football (ECRP league, ages 5-12): July 18-Aug. 1, fee $65 and own helmet plus $50 refundable equipment deposit when equipment is issued, control date Aug. 1
Football (travel league, ages 7-12): July 18-Aug. 1, fee $65 and own helmet plus $50 refundable equipment deposit when equipment is issued, and $10 additional fee, control date Aug. 1
Cheerleading (ages 5-13): July 18-Aug. 1, $90 fee without uniform, $40 fee with uniform, control date Aug. 1
Adult co-ed and men’s fall softball: deadline is Aug. 3, $390 per team
Adult volleyball, men and women: deadline is Sept. 14, fee $190 per team
Men’s and women’s flag football: deadline is Sept. 14, fee $300 per team
Rincon Rec Signups
The Rincon Recreation Department is holding registration for fall baseball and softball until July 16. Baseball will be for those ages 6-14, with a control date of May 1, 2013. Softball is for those ages 8-10 with a control date of Jan. 1, 2013. Shirts and hats are provided.
Fall soccer registration will be held July 16-Aug. 15 and is for those ages 4-11 with a control date of Aug. 1. The entire uniform is provided.
The first fall football program will hold registration through July 27 for ages 7-12, with a control date of Aug. 1. Players must provide their own helmet.
The registration fee is $65 for one child, $120 for two children and $170 for three or more children. Fall sports are considered separate sports, so the discount applies to multiple children signed up for the same sport. Football requires an additional deposit of $40 per child. Registration can be done from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Rincon Recreation offices in the old Lions Club building. For more information, call the RRD at 826-0238.
