More than 80 entrants dug in and swung for the fences at the second Josh Reddick Home Run Derby, held at Rincon's Macomber Park.

Reddick, the Oakland A's right fielder, staged the event with the help of friends and family. There was also a silent auction on baseball memorabilia. Reddick, soon to finish recuperating from offseason wrist surgery, couldn't swing a bat, but he helped run the pitching machines and spent time with the kids and adults who turned out.
