Ryan Frederick (GSU) — Frederick had a rough outing Sunday, allowing six earned runs on seven hits in 1 2/3 innings. For the season, he is 3-0 with a 4.91 ERA, striking out 24 and walking 11 while allowing 37 hits in 29 1/3 innings.

Eric Knox (Georgia Tech) — Knox, a freshman outfielder for the Yellow Jackets, is 3-for-9 with one double, one RBI and one run scored in nine games. He entered Sunday’s game as pinch-runner in the ninth inning before Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston got the final out for the save for Florida State.

Dylan Griffin (Georgia Southwestern State University) — A freshman catcher, Griffin is 10-for-39 (.256) with six RBIs for the Hurricanes.

Zack Smith (Georgia Southwestern State University) — Smith is 2-4 in 13 games, allowing 28 earned runs in 42 innings. He has allowed 48 hits, walked 21 and struck out 33.

Spencer Harvey (Middle Georgia State College) — Harvey is hitting .270 with four doubles and 11 RBIs.

Steven Vaughn (Missouri Southern State University) — A senior, Vaughn has appeared in 23 games and has registered five saves. He is 2-2 with a 2.16 ERA, having allowed eight earned runs on 20 hits in 33 1/3 innings. He has walked 10 and struck out 29.
