Josh Reddick (Pawtucket Red Sox) — Reddick has been on a tear the last week. The South Effingham High grad is has 13 hits in his last 27 at-bats, raising his average for the season to .221. He was 3-for-3 against Louisville on June 14 and was 3-for-4 two days later against Columbus.

His OPS (on-base percentage plus slugging percentage) over that span is 1.150.

For the season, Reddick has six homers and 26 RBIs with 10 doubles and three triples.

Zach Dotson (Gulf Coast League Mets) — The former ECHS ace, drafted by the New York Mets last year, has been assigned to the Rookie League Gulf Coast League Mets.

The GCL Mets are managed by former major league catcher Sandy Alomar Jr. They opened the season Monday with the  GCL Marlins.
