Josh Reddick (Oakland Athletics) — A hyperextended right knee has the right fielder on the disabled list, and the 27-year-old Reddick appears ready to get back into action. In four rehab games with Triple-A Sacramento, he was 7-for-16 with three doubles. With the A’s, Reddick is hitting .214 for the season with four home runs and 22 RBIs. He has three doubles and three triples.


JB Wendelken (Winston-Salem Dash) — Wendelken picked up the win last Tuesday, allowing two runs, one earned, over seven innings. He struck out three and gave up just three hits. He went five innings Sunday and got no decision as he yielded five runs, just two earned, in five innings. For the season, he is 5-6 with a 3.76 earned run average. In 79 innings, he has allowed 90 hits while striking out 62 and walking only 12.
