Josh Reddick (Oakland Athletics) — Reddick capped a hot week at the plate with a strong Sunday in an A’s loss. He homered twice for Oakland’s only two runs, gong 2-for-3 to raise his average to .259. He was 8-for-17 over the last five games, with four homers and seven RBIs. Reddick now has eight homers, 31 RBIs, eight doubles, four triples and .755 OPS for the season.

JB Wendelken (Winston-Salem Dash) — Wendelken had perhaps his best outing of the season, and maybe his best of his professional career, last Wednesday. He went seven innings, striking out a career-high 13, while giving up just two hits in seven scoreless innings against Frederick.
For the season, he is 6-8 with a 4.79 earned run average. He has struck out 99 and allowed 139 hits in 114 2/3 innings.
