Matt Morris beat Peter Brennan on the first playoff hole to capture the second Rincon City Amateur at Lost Plantation Golf Club on Sunday.

Morris shot a 3-under 69 to tie Brennan at 1-over 145. Brennan entered Sunday’s final round of the championship A flight with a two-shot lead over Donnie Mulligan and Arnie Reddick Jr.

Randy Freeman was third at 148. Pete Snow was fourth at 150, Mulligan took fifth at 152, Reddick was sixth at 154, Mark Harrison was seventh at 157 and Michael Tomlinson was eighth at 159.

Bobby Payne won the B flight at 152, two shots in front of Joey Stanfield. Wheaton Hall was third at 156, two strokes in front of David Mincey and Wesley Daniel. Bruce Jones was sixth at 160, Adam Dozier was seventh at 164 and Brian Dutton was eighth at 165.

Jeff Kirk claimed first in the C flight, shooting a second-round 78 to finish at 162, six strokes better than Cameron Hinson. Jeff Blocker was third at 171.

Tom Wilson won the D flight at 157.
