The South Effingham Middle School Lady Mustangs added two more region softball wins against Southeast Bulloch and Richmond Hill.

SEB managed just one hit off South Effingham Lady Mustangs pitcher Emily Laverenz, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during her three innings of work.

The Lady Mustangs scored 13 runs, getting eight runs in the second inning. Laverenz was 2-for-2 with a double and three RBIs, Mallori Jenkins was 2-for-3 with two RBIs, Hailey Pinette was 1-for-2 and drove in two runs, Madelyn Smith went 2-for-3 with one RBI, Kastin Belogorska was 2-for-3, Courtney Cubbedge drove in one run and Alexa Johanson was 1-for-3.

The Lady Mustangs scored eight runs in the first three innings en route to an 11-3 victory over Richmond Hill. Belogorska struck out six while giving up three hits, two walks and no earned runs over five innings.

Smith was 2-for-4 with two RBIs, Jenkins went 2-for-3 with a double and one RBI, Pinette and Carolyn Brown each had a double and two RBIs, Alli Ergle was 1-for-2 with one RBI, Johanson was 2-for-3 with one RBI, Belogorska knocked in a run and Cheyenne Miller was 2-for-2.
