Kessler named to Young Harris deans list

Cathy Cox, president of Young Harris College, is pleased to announce that Rebecca Lynn Kessler has been named to the Young Harris College dean’s list for the spring semester.  

Students who achieve a 3.5 grade point average or better are eligible to be named to the dean’s list.

Kessler, a rising sophomore at Young Harris College and a graduate of South Effingham High School, is the daughter of Thomas and Ramona Kessler of Guyton. She is the granddaughter of Steve Holmes of Hiawassee.

Founded in 1886, Young Harris College is a private, core liberal arts college which is transitioning from a two-year institution into a baccalaureate-granting institution.  

Historically affiliated with The United Methodist Church, a primary goal of Young Harris College is to provide a quality education for the whole person: intellectually, socially, culturally, and spiritually.
