Jed and Ashton Smith of Guyton would like to announce the birth of their son, Ayden Alan Smith, born July 12, 2008, at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

Ayden was born at 7:19 p.m. weighing 5 pounds 8 ounces and 18 1/2 inches long.

His grandparents are Glenn and Tammie Zittrouer of Springfield and Joey and Kay Smith of Guyton. Great grandparents are Ms. Shirley McCarty of Springfield and the late Carl W. McCarty, the late Mr. and Mrs. George Robert Zittrouer, Billy and Lee Ellen Hanberry of Clyo, Ms. Joyce Smith of Guyton, and the late Grady O. Smith and great-great grandmother Ms. Willie Tebeau of Springfield.

Ayden was welcomed home by family, friends and his doggie Boss.
