Jay Lowder, an internationally-known evangelist and author, is coming to Effingham County for the celebration banquet and kickoff for the Effingham Adventure Weekend.

Lowder is the founder of Jay Lowder Harvest Ministries, Inc., an outreach and evangelical program designed to reach people from all ages and different walks of life.  He is also the founder of “Crossroads,” a nationally-acclaimed school assembly program.  Crossroads School Assemblies has reached more than two million students nationwide.

Effingham Adventure Weekend will be held April 11-14, 2013 at Effingham County High School. The event will feature family-friendly activities, speakers and worship times.

On Sunday, Lowder will preach during the morning services at First Baptist Church of Springfield and again during the evening service at Rincon Church of God.
