SPRINGFIELD–The United Methodist Men of Springfield United Methodist Church will host the sixth annual Missions Golf Tournament April 18 at Henderson Golf Club in Savannah.

The golf tournament will be a four-person scramble. Maximum handicap is 22. There will be numerous awards and prizes including a chance to win a new car. Lunch will be served at noon followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

There are multiple ways to get involved. Enter a 4-person team for $260 ($65 per person). Plus corporate and hole sponsorships are available.

Proceeds from this annual event support mission needs in our local community as well as the following Missions on the Move programs in Central America:  1) The Boys and Girls Homes in Tapachula, Mexico and 2) The children’s school, medical clinic and new home construction in Honduras.
