First Baptist Church of Rincon recently held its second annual “Children’s VIP Banquet.” More than 70 children attended the event to let them know that they are made in the image of God.

Children got to ride in a Hummer limousine to the church and walk a red carpet as they were announced by the pastor.

They were treated to a kid-friendly meal of pizza, hot dogs and ice cream and heard an inspirational program from Kidz Explosion of Atlanta.

Dr. Bill Gammon, associate pastor and children’s minister, was responsible for planning the event, with assistance from a host of adult and youth volunteers.
