The National Day of Prayer will be observed with a community prayer breakfast on May 1 at 6 a.m. at the Family Life Center of Rincon Church of God, located on Highway 21 north of Rincon.

The guest speaker will be Richard Bush, chief deputy sheriff of Effingham County.

This annual event is jointly sponsored by Rincon Church of God, Rincon United Methodist Church and First Baptist Church of Rincon. It is free and open to all Christians to attend.
