Rincon Church of God will host the annual Rincon Community Holy Week noonday services, Monday through Friday, March 17-21 at 12:05 p.m. each day. This year’s theme is “Journey to the Cross.”

Speakers this year at the Holy Week services are: Monday-Rev. Moses Toole, Ephesus Baptist Church; Tuesday-Rev. Duane Logsdon, Cornerstone Baptist Church; Wednesday-Rev. Mary Beene, Faith Presbyterian Church; Thursday-Rev. William Winston, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church; and Friday-Rev. Larry Bird, Rincon United Methodist Church.

Rincon Church of God will serve a light lunch in their Family Life Center at 12:30 p.m., after the Holy Week services. Rincon Church of God is located on the west side of Highway 21 about a mile north of the Rincon city limits. For more information, call 826-5927.

The Rincon Community Easter Sunrise Service will be on Easter Sunday, March 23 at 7:15 a.m. at the outdoor amphitheater of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, on the eastern end of Ebenezer Road near the Savannah River. Speaker will be Rev. Eleanor Russey, pastor of Jerusalem Lutheran Church. Refreshments will be served afterwards, and the historic Jerusalem Lutheran Church will be open for visitors.
