First Baptist Church of Rincon College and Career Bible study department visited Memorial Health University Medical Center’s Backus Children’s Hospital on Oct. 27.

The children were thrilled to receive their treat bags filled with goodies collected by the students but were even more excited to see the creative costumes the students were dressed in. They came as everything from a gypsy pirate, baseball star, librarian, pink panther and even “Haggard” from Harry Potter fame. It seemed as if all the children wanted was their picture taken with this motley crew.

This is the second year students from FBC Rincon’s College and Career department have taken their “Traveling Fall Festival” to the kids at Backus.
