Night of Latin rhythms at Armstrong Friday

SAVANNAH — Atlanta-based Latin band Orquesta Taboga will perform at 7 p.m., April 17 in the Armstrong Center Suite 18, 13040 Abercorn St.
General admission is $3 at the door. Admission is free for college students with a valid I.D.

Orquesta Taboga blends Caribbean and Latin American rhythms, including salsa, merengue and cumbia.

Armstrong Atlantic State University’s Hispanic Outreach and Leadership at Armstrong (HOLA) program, Office of Multicultural Affairs and Office of International Education co-sponsor this event in conjunction with the YMCA of Coastal Georgia.

This Grassroots Arts Program is supported in part by the Georgia Council for the Arts (GCA) through the appropriations of the Georgia General Assembly and administered by the city of Savannah’s Department of Cultural Affairs.

GCA is a partner of the National Endowment for the Arts.
