Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Polk are proud to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Brittany Amanda Polk, to Matthew Wayne Trull Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Trull of Meldrim.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Gwen Howell and the late Mrs. Mary Lillian Howell of Guyton, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Polk of Morgan City, La. She is a 2007 graduate of Effingham County High School and currently employed by TeeZers Team Sports in Springfield and the Effingham County Board of Education as an assistant coach of the Rebel softball team.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. George McLamb of Meldrim, Ms. Evelyn Haller of Meldrim, Ms. Ann Trull of Pooler, and Ms. Shaaron Trull and the late Mr. Frances Trull of Odum. He is a 2006 graduate of South Effingham High School and a 2012 graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University with a bachelor’s degree in physical education and health. He is currently employed by Gulfstream Aerospace.

Brittany and Matthew will be married on Sept. 14, 2013 at 5 p.m. The ceremony will be held at Pine Street Baptist Church in Guyton. The reception will immediately follow at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Atkins, 1952 Old Louisville Road in Guyton.

All family and friends are invited to attend.
