Mr. and Mrs. F. Parker Rahn of Rincon are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Stacy Kathryn, to Joseph Holdren Boyles, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick H. Boyles of St. Marys. Stacy and Joseph met in college, through the University of Georgia Redcoat Marching Band.
The future bride is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. May Exley of Clyo and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Bullard of Rincon, and Mr. and Mrs. W. Carswell Rahn of Rincon. She is a 2004 graduate of Effingham County High School and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia in 2008.
Stacy is currently employed by UGA’s Enterprise Information Technology Services as a Business Analyst.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Beverly of Waycross and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Boyles of Live Oak, Fla. He is a 2001 graduate of Americus High School and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism degree in Public Relations from the University of Georgia in 2005.
Joseph is currently employed by UGA’s Office of Student Financial Aid as a HOPE/Scholarships Counselor.
The wedding is planned for 5 p.m., June 12, 2010, at Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Ebenezer, in Rincon. No local invitations will be sent. All family and friends are invited to attend.
