Lisa Valerie Stephens and Trey William Rahn announce their plans to marry on June 7, 2008, in Ozark, Ala.

Lisa is the daughter of Janey and Jerry Stephens of Ozark, Ala., and the granddaughter of Roberta Harrell and the late Charlie Harrell of Ozark, Ala., and Edna Stephens and the late Gerald Stephens of Clarkston.

Trey is the son of William Wingard Rahn of Springfield and Carolyn Clark of Savannah. He is the grandson of the late Burton and Talulah Rahn of Springfield and the late Charlie and Pauline Harris of Crawfordville.

The couple completed undergraduate studies at Mercer University in Macon. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English and he a Bachelor of Science in chemistry. She earned a master’s degree in journalism and mass communication from the University of Georgia and is currently a reporter at The Southern Star in Ozark, Ala. He earned a master’s degree in chemistry from the University of South Carolina and works as a quality engineer at Michelin North America in Dothan, Ala.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Mixon of Guyton announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy Cierra Mixon, to Landon Harry Snooks, son of Steven and Harriett Snooks of Springfield. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Hill, Sr. of Eatonton, Ga., and the great-granddaughter of James Harmon Sr. of Fort Valley, Ga. Cierra is a 2012 graduate of South Effingham High School and a 2017 graduate of Armstrong State University with a bachelor of science in Radiologic Science with a focus in cardiovascular science. Cierra is employed at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.
