Brandon Joseph and Kristen Elizabeth Hodges

Ms. Gail Tirey of Savannah and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hodges of Guyton are pleased to announce the marriage of their children, Kristen Elizabeth Tirey and Brandon Joseph Hodges.

The bride graduated from South Effingham High School in 2004. She attended Armstrong Atlantic State University. Currently she is employed at Bank of America.  

The groom graduated from East Bulloch High School in 1999. He is employed with Georgia Power.  

The ceremony took place on Tybee Island on Sept. 15 at 6 p.m. and was officiated by Jimmy Hedrick.

The bride had Clara Hodges, sister-in-law of the groom as matron of honor and Ashley Kesseler as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Erin Walsh and Molly Lancaster, both cousins of the bride. Flower girls were MaKenna Mercer, cousin of the bride, and Kelsey Hodges, niece of the groom.  

The groom had his brother, Justin Hodges as best man. Groomsmen were Joseph Hodges, father of the groom; Jonathan Tirey, brother of the bride; and Kurt Gay. Ring bearer was Mason Wiechec, cousin of the bride.

A reception followed the ceremony at Mill Creek Banquet and Lodge in Rincon.

The couple will reside in Springfield.

David and Kathy Woody and Gary Don and Sheila Cullum of Sallisaw, OK wish to announce the marriage of their children, Lindsey Michelle Woody and Grant Wesley Cullum. They are the grandchildren of Frank and Iva Lee Weatherford, Corky and Barbara Hunt, Glen Woody, Jr. and Marcia Cullum (all of Sallisaw) and Leroy and Ruth Lowrimore of Cowlington, OK. Grant is also the grandson of the late Sallisaw resident, Bill Girten. The outdoor ceremony was held in the evening of Aug. 20, 2016 by the lake at the groom’s parents’ home.
