A committee of Effingham County commissioners will review the contract with the Effingham Hospital and make possible changes to send to the
hospital.

A commissioners’ committee of Bob Brantley, Reggie Loper and Verna Phillips will review the contract with the hospital and make possible amendments.

“It won’t take very long for us to go through this contract,” County Administrator David Crawley said.

Commissioners approved a resolution in July backing the hospital’s modernization and expansion plans using Build America bonds. The bonds are backed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the resolution of commissioners’ support was needed as part of the loan application.
