Early voting for municipal races starts Oct. 16

RINCON -- Rincon’s mayoral race highlights the 2017 municipal elections in Effingham County.

Christi Ricker, a member of the Rincon City Council, is challenging incumbent Mayor Ken Lee.

Early voting for the Nov. 7 election starts Oct. 16.

Rincon also has six candidates vying for three city council posts. They are Eric Brierton, Ann L. Daniel (incumbent), Jerome A. Erwin, Kevin Exley, Patrick Kirkland and Levi Scott Jr. (incumbent).
