Georgia Power sets next round of outages, upgrades

Georgia Power has scheduled its next round of outages and upgrades for Sept. 30.
 
The outage will begin at 9 a.m. and could last for up to eight hours. The affected areas are:
 
• Courthouse Road from Kingsley Plantation to just before Highway 17
 
• Midland Road from Helmey Drive to west of Low Ground Road
 
• Old Marlow Road from Midland Road to Hickory Lane
 
•Includes Victoria Oaks, Lee Village, and Bent Oak subdivisions
 
The alternate date for the outage is Sept. 30.
