The Georgia Salzburger Society observed Landing Day on Saturday.

Landing Day is a time for Salzurger descendants to celebrate the Georgia landing of their ancestors on March 12, 1734. The Salzburgers were a group of Protestant refugees who helped settle the colony of Georgia.
