Railroad crossings to close for repair work

CSX Railroad has scheduled crossing closings for repair. Traffic will be re-routed and signs will mark the detours. Crossings normally are closed for three days during repair work but can vary depending on conditions.

Effingham closings and dates are: 

Rincon —Goshen Road, south of Paddleford, Jan. 28; McCall Road at Blue Jay, Feb. 1; 15thStreet at Georgia Avenue, Feb. 1; West 9th Street at Georgia Avenue, Feb. 2; West 6thStreet at Georgia Avenue, Feb. 2; West 5thStreet at Georgia Avenue, Feb. 2; East Johnson Street at N. Carolina Avenue, Feb. 2; Ebenezer Road at Mill Pond Road, Feb. 3.

Stillwell — Indigo Road, west of Stillwell-Clyo Road intersection, Jan. 25; Stillwell-Clyo Road at Long Bridge Road, Feb. 4.

Clyo — Berryville Road, between Johnson and Lower Ferry roads, Jan. 26; Fair Street, at Railroad Avenue intersection, Jan. 27; Marion Avenue, at Railroad Avenue intersection, Jan. 27; Clyo-Kildare Road at Railroad Avenue intersection, Jan. 28; Reedsville Road near Gold Kist Road, Jan. 29.
