A state of Effingham County’s health town hall meeting will be held Monday at Blandford Elementary School at 7 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the Effingham County Health Department and the Georgia Southern University College of Public Health. The town hall is part of the Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnership process.
Surveys were used to identify and prioritize the following community health issues: access to preventive services; obesity, high blood pressure and special needs services; smoking, alcohol and drug abuse; teen suicide and injury prevention; and teen pregnancy.
