Tallent receives state telehealth honor

Joe Tallent, MHA, Community and Operations coordinator at Effingham Health System was named the Telehealth Coordinator of the Year at the 9th Annual Georgia Partnership for Telehealth (GPT) Conference on March 22. Each year, GPT honors a deserving individual who has exemplified both outstanding telehealth program coordination and a commitment to telehealth success. Effingham Health System and the Effingham County Board of Education partnered to pilot a school-based Telemedicine Program in 2017 at Guyton Elementary School and Springfield Elementary School.
