Rebels standout tapped for all-star games

 Effingham County’s Rylee Mills was selected to play in the Georgia Dugout Club’s 2022 All-State Softball Games on Saturday at Truist Park.

Mills, a pitcher and first baseman, is on the roster for Region 1 and Region 2.

Mills, who is committed to the College of Coastal Georgia, played an integral part of the Rebels’ softball success this season. ECHS finished 27-7, won a super regional at Alcovy and advanced to Columbus, where the Rebels finished the eight-team tournament tied for fifth.
