Led by captains Katie Drittler and Sydney Martinez, the Ebenezer Middle School Lady Eagles defeated Richmond Hill Middle School to win the Coastal Empire Middle School Region Championship on Tuesday.

Rebecca Shea scored the winning goal with an assist from Drittler early in the first half.

Ebenezer’s defense of Martinez, Brianna McCrae, Emma Hartzog, Jayden Tabler and Andrea Garcia held Richmond Hill scoreless for the remainder of the game. The Eagle defense held all opponents scoreless for their entire season.

The Lady Eagles are coached by Patrick McCorkhill and Leslie Pickard.
