Local students earn Ga. Tech degrees

The Georgia Institute of Technology presented degrees to approximately 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students during the Institute’s 251st Commencement exercises on May 6 and 7 at the McCamish Pavilion.

Jonathan Slater of Rincon—bachelor of science in chemical and biomolecular engineering

More than 24,000 undergraduate and graduate students are enrolled, and Georgia Tech is ranked in the nation’s top 10 public universities by U.S. News and World Report.
