The Martin Luther King Jr. Observance Day Committee has announced the winners of the 2010 MLK Observance Day poster and essay contest for students in grades K-12.

The theme for this year is, “Dreamers of Today–Leaders of Tomorrow.”  An award will be presented to the following students at the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration during the noon youth program at the Effingham County gymnasium on Highway 119 on Jan. 18.

The winners are encouraged to attend this service and participate in other activities that day, where they will receive special recognition.
