Retired Educators hand out honors

The Effingham County Retired Educators held their annual banquet recently at New Ebenezer Retreat Center. New officers were installed. They are Patsy Zeigler, vice president; Barbara Strickland, president; Faye Zeigler, secretary; and Carolyn Kessler, treasurer.

The Effingham County Retired Educators honored two of its members with awards at its annual banquet. Patsy Clayton received the Community Service Award and Barbara Strickland received the Leadership Award.
