The children and grandchildren of Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Edenfield will be hosting a 50th wedding anniversary celebration to be held June 29 at the First Baptist Church in Blitchton at 3 p.m.

The couple was married at the home of the bride’s parents, Mrs. Thelma Kangeter and the late Mr. C.A. (Charlie) Kangeter of Ellabell, on June 29, 1958. They were blessed with and have raised two children, Carl and Connie.

Freddie was a boilermaker with Local 26 for 50 years and retired in 1990. Mildred retired after 30 years as a beautician and former owner-operator of Mildred’s Beauty Shop in Blitchton.

They enjoy camping, fishing and spending time with their children, grandchildren and friends.

Carl and Linda Edenfield of Brooklet, with their children, Blake, Brad and Brooks, and Mike and Connie (Edenfield) Jones of Springfield, with their children, Shelby and Julia would like to extend an invitation for family and friends to join with them in celebration of this most joyous occasion.
