Local pastor assists after ice storm hits Kentucky
Picture 1655
Pastor Bob Rogers of First Baptist Church is a trained chaplain with Georgia Baptist Disaster Relief. He recently was called upon to travel to Radcliff, Ky., to assist with the cleanup after the deadly ice storms that blew through the area. The team he was assigned to assisted elder residents in the cleanup of downed trees in their yard. Every person they assisted expressed their thanks to Georgia Baptists for providing a service for free that would have cost them hundreds of dollars if volunteers had not stepped up.
