Connect Savannah, an arts and entertainment publication in Savannah, has launched SAV HAPPS, a new mobile entertainment app showcasing local event content. The custom-branded app is provided by mobile app development company saambaa of San Diego.

Since its mid-February 2014 launch, SAV HAPPS has been downloaded and installed on over 1,000 mobile devices.

The new app is currently available on iTunes for Apple devices and on Google Play for Android devices.

Saambaa has partnered with a number of alt-weekly publications with the platform, including Tucson Weekly, Pittsburgh City Paper, Style Weekly, Folio Weekly, Jackson Free Press and others. SAV HAPPS is notable for its proprietary technology that allows users the power to share listings with friends using text messages, emails and push notifications.

Published each Wednesday and distributed free throughout the greater Savannah metropolitan area, Connect Savannah provides coverage of local arts and entertainment, news and issues, pertinent social and political commentary and extensive event and happenings listings to over 100,000 print and online readers each week.
