SAVANNAH–The City of Savannah’s Department of Cultural Affairs will begin accepting registrations for its Summer Art Camp on April 14.
Art Camp runs June 9 through Aug. 29 at S.P.A.C.E. studios, located at 9 West Henry St. Nine camp sessions will be offered for children, providing an introduction to painting, ceramics, metalwork, mixed media and performing arts in age-appropriate group settings.
Sessions 1-7 are one-week full-day sessions open to children ages 5-14. These sessions run from June 9 through Aug. 1 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and the fee is $125 per child.
Session 8 is an intensive two-week full-day camp open to children ages 7-14. This session runs Aug. 11-22 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and the fee is $250 per child. Session 9 is an introductory half-day camp open to children ages 4-6. This session runs Aug. 25-29 from 9 a.m.-noon and the fee is $75 per child.
Fees include all necessary materials. A non-spoiling bag lunch must be provided daily for full-day sessions.
There will be no camps the weeks of June 30 and Aug. 4.
