Wild Adventures holds Shoutfest Saturday

SHOUTFEST ‘08, Christian music’s most ambitious annual one-day rock festival and youth ministry-driven concert event is headed to Wild Adventures in Valdosta on Aug. 30.

SHOUTFEST ’08 has announced the strongest lineup in the tour’s history, including a headlining Main Stage performance by Third Day, plus performances by Starfield, Grits, Jason Morant, Mission Six and others.

For over a decade, Third Day has stood atop the Christian rock world, racking up 25 No. 1 radio singles and selling close to seven million albums. The band has garnered 23 career Dove Awards, three Grammy Awards (with eight career nominations), two consecutive American Music Award nods, multiple ASCAP honors, and has developed a historic partnership with Chevrolet.  

The band’s latest studio album, Revelation, debuted at No. 6 on Billboard’s Top 200 in July, making it the week’s top-selling debut album in the nation.

Other artists set to perform on the festival event’s two live stages are Revive, Magellan from Club DreamLab, One Minute Halo, JJ Weeks, I Am Terrified, Say You Will, Gabriela Hindy, One Friday and Compassion International speaker Brad Duncan.

The concert is free with the price of park admission. Wild Adventures does offer a reserve seating area for an additional charge. Reserve seats are $20 each and are on sale now.
