If theres one place Christians can find hope, its on late-night TV, especially since the talk-show hosts often promote optimistic and hopeful messages, according to Relevant editor Jessie Carey.

Carey lists Jimmy Fallon as an example. Rather than being a shrewd critic of world politics and culture, Fallon embraces his humanity and fills his shows with dorky games and comedy gags, meant to make people happy and optimistic about life. Hell even poke fun at himself, Carey wrote.

Dance-centered viral videos, goofy dorm room games and musical competitions can be mindless, but theyre also good-natured, Carey wrote. Fallon himself is relentlessly optimistic, never laughing at guests, but frequently laughing along with them.

Fallons optimism and family-friendly attitude towards late night might stem from his humble beginnings in Brooklyn, New York, where he was raised Catholic, according to Remnant Newspaper. In fact, Fallon himself was going to become a Catholic priest, Remnant reported.

Of course, Fallon isnt the only late night TV show host out there, and he's certainly not the only one with a religious background. Take our quiz to see if you know the religious beliefs of these late night hosts.
